Minnesota weather

On Saturday, I planted tomatoes and peppers in my garden. By Sunday morning they were all dead due to frost [a frost that was never predicted, thank you very much]. About 48 hours later it was 95°F. To add insult to injury, on Tuesday it was 100°F in one part to the state and 34°F in another. Stupid MN weather.

I replanted my tomatoes and peppers today. If they don't survive, I'm moving to Oklahoma.

wow! (and i thought KY weather was bad!)
i'm stopping by the southwest corner of your state on the epic moving road trip, btw, just so i can say i've been there (and it's not far out of the way).

Ah, home sweet home.

I remember having blizzards in May and 75 degree days in February. Nice to know that it hasn't changed too much since I've moved away.

Ψ*Ψ- Awesome. Enjoy the state. FYI, the southwest portion of the state is probably the most boring part of the state. Topographically speaking, MN is quite diverse, but that part is flat and flat.

Adam: You are well aware of the weirdness that is MN weather.

While watching the weather yesterday, I noted that it was 20 degrees warmer in Brainerd, MN than it was in Durham, NC.

Crappy! We, in NoDak, are waiting to plant our garden until this weekend... and even then we'll be crossing our fingers that it doesn't get super cold again.

(Actually, my son is planting it this year for a Gardening Boy Scout badge. I can sit back and watch.)

Wow, that's just madness! And I thought NC snow on a Monday followed by 70 on a Wednesday was weird. Sucks about your garden. :-(

Don't move to oklahoma...move to seattle!! Everything grows like weeds and mold here. Including actual weeds and mold!

The last time I was in Seattle, it was 75-80° and sunny for 5 days in a row. Not a drop of rain or anything. The most perfect weather.

I realize that isn't normal.
