Ant Farm... Day Three

It's been 3 days since I unleashed the ants into my ant farm. Those little bastards have been very busy.

BEHOLD!!!!!!

From the back:
Out of focus ants:I've spent too much time staring at the farm watching the ants do their thing. After staring at it for several minutes and then walking away, everything looks yellow.

I've always thought the name ant farm was misleading.

Its not like you're farming ants...nor are they growing anything usefull.

If they had asked me (like they should have) I would have named it "icky disease growing pile of gel that you will likely throw out when you end up killing all the ants-box"

Here from Gwen's blog...will follow...Chemistry rules!

But ~E, ants actually have antiseptic properties on their exoskeleton! So they will keep the gel nice and disease-free. :)

I'm not sure how it can be but watching an ant farm over the internet is actually really fun!

The ant farm looks like something I have seen in a SciFi flick. Very cool and futuristic.

I'm can't have multiple "pets" any more. Tried that with the hamsters and we know how THAT turned out, don't we? Yeah, hope you have better luck than I did :-)

E- You are right. I am very disappointed that nothing is growing. Thanks for reading.

katiedid- You think watching it over the internet is fun, try it in real life. I'm totally mesmerized by their antics. (get it?)

Lisa- in 3D, it looks even cooler.
