Happy Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day I decided to dispose of some old tires I was using as lawn decorations:
I also got rid of some old paint:
..and released some oil back into nature:

All in all, it was a pretty good Earth Day. What did you do?

I think we need a save the people day, not a save the earth day. The earth was here before us and will be here after we are all long gone. To think we need to save it, I think, is a lot of hubris.
If I could do it all over again I would drink some of the Lithuanian beer in my fridge and cook of some the skirt steak in the freezer but instead I worked in the lab till 9pm. I would do it all for the earth also!

I listened to some guy yesterday talking about how the hole in the ozone layer was leading to the ice thickening in antarctica. And how that was a bad thing.

Wasn't it a few years ago that the hole in the ozone layer was leading to the loss of ice in antarctica?

So, in order to save the planet, we should go back to releasing CFCs. Hooray, science!

I set a couple puppies on fire, mowed down a rainforest to make a resort, and threw a bunch of six pack plastic rings into the ocean.

Oh wait, you said for Earth Day?

In that case nothing special...just another day in the life...

JZ: I've never had a beer from Lithuania. Any good?

Mjenks: Don't get all uppity with your science and facts and such.

Adam: Only about 18 more posts like this and I'll be able to zero in on your location.

~E: What's the name of your resort?

I am a big fan of wheat beers and on easter visiting some of my family I decided to stop by a Binny's beverage depot (those places are amazing). I picked up this Kapstrieter Landbier Austrian Wheat it was very good. And a bunc of other beers including some Svyturys (the Lithuanian beer) which I enjoy but have never seen anywhere else.
